Helena the Label was founded in 2018 during my second year of Fashion Design, born from a deep passion for creating garments that celebrate life’s most memorable moments. My style is raw yet soft, inspired by the beauty of nature and the world around me. This connection to nature is reflected in the location of my studio at The Roots Lifestyle Centre in Potchefstroom, surrounded by stunning gardens that fuel my creativity.

I focus solely on bespoke formal wear, from matric dance dresses to wedding gowns, and take pride in collaborating with each client to ensure their vision is brought to life. Every garment is made with care and attention to detail, designed to reflect the personality of the wearer and make them feel truly special.

While I primarily work alone, I’m grateful for the occasional support of my mum and talented interns who help bring my designs to life. At Helena the Label, it’s about more than just dresses—it’s about crafting cherished memories through beautifully tailored pieces

THE PROCESS

CONSULTATION

This marks the initial stage of our process. A one-on-one consultation is imperative for discussing the design and gaining a deeper understanding of your style.

I will promptly draft a sketch of the design and take measurements to ensure greater accuracy in the quotation.

QUOTATION

Following the consultation, I will provide a detailed quotation within a timeframe of 5-7 days.

FITTINGS

Once you have accepted the quotation, fittings will be scheduled. A minimum of 4 fittings is required for any design.
